Claude in Russia without a VPN or provider account blocks

ApiClo provides access to Claude in Russia without a VPN or provider account blocks, through Web Chat, API and supported IDEs. A personal Anthropic account is not required. ApiClo takes responsibility for provider-side regional restrictions and account blocks; you do not need to buy or recover a Claude account.

Before you start

  • Create an ApiClo account. Web Chat needs only a browser; API and IDE clients need a key created in your ApiClo dashboard.
  • Check the selected model's rates and add balance before a paid request. Web Chat and API have no mandatory subscription.

Steps

  1. How do I start in a browser without a VPN?

    Register at apiclo.com, open Web Chat and choose Claude from the current model list. Send requests through ApiClo, not claude.ai. No Anthropic sign-in is needed.

  2. How do I connect an API or IDE client?

    Create an ApiClo key and choose a compatible client. Use https://apiclo.com/v1 for the OpenAI-compatible API. For Claude Code, set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to https://apiclo.com without /v1, and ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN to your ApiClo key. Get the exact model ID from the current catalog.

  3. What if claude.ai is unavailable in my region or has blocked my account?

    Use a separate ApiClo account. ApiClo handles provider-side regional restrictions and account blocks. We do not unblock your claude.ai account or automatically transfer its conversation history.

  4. How is usage billed?

    Actual usage is charged to your ApiClo balance at the selected model's current rates. API and Web Chat do not require a separate Claude Pro or Max subscription. Input, output and prompt-cache rates are listed in the documentation.

Check the result

Select Claude and receive a reply in Web Chat. For API use, confirm requests go to apiclo.com with an ApiClo key and a model ID from the current catalog. Usage appears in your ApiClo dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • The client still opens claude.ai or asks for an Anthropic subscription: check that its selected mode supports a third-party API and that ApiClo settings are applied. ApiClo Web Chat needs no such setup.
  • HTTP 401: check your ApiClo key and API address. Never publish your key or send it in a support conversation.
  • For a technical error, send ApiClo support the time, model, error code and request ID when available. We handle provider access and blocks; you do not need to buy another Claude account.

Compatibility and billing

Claude without a VPN or provider account blocks is ApiClo's access commitment, not a promise of zero technical outages or recovery of a blocked claude.ai account. ApiClo is an independent service, not an official Anthropic product. Check the current ApiClo catalog for available models and rates.
